Privacy on the social web.

FIT WORLD uses your existing Firebase account to sign you in and connect your web identity with the mobile app. Sign-in providers process the information needed to authenticate you.

What becomes public

When you create a social profile, its approved name, username, avatar, biography, level, rank, streak and consistency colours are public. Approved posts and comments are public too. Your birthday, body measurements and exact daily step counts are not sent to public social pages.

What we store

We store the profile and content you submit, uploaded media, likes, saved posts, social connections, blocks, reports and records needed to prevent abuse. Pending media is held privately until its post is approved. Firebase provides account, database and storage services. If automated moderation is enabled, the public name, username, biography, posts, comments, poll answers and attached images or videos you submit are sent to Google’s Gemini service for community and safety checks. This includes text visible in images and audio in videos. We do not send your account phone number, birthday, body measurements, private messages or exact activity records to this service.

Gemini’s free service may use submitted content to improve Google’s products, and reviewers may process it under Google’s terms. Temporary media copies are deleted after the check where possible; Google’s own processing and retention terms still apply. Avoid including private information in content intended for sharing.

Your controls

You decide whether to publish a profile or a post. You can choose who comments, remove your posts, unfollow, unfriend and unblock. Removing a post hides it; operational copies and moderation records may remain. Blocking filters the signed-in community; public content can still be read while signed out.
